So, what I am relaying here tells me that this might happen some times in some sites but not all the time. The season's first game was yesterday, that game I was able to watch it without having to switch to using a non private window. That was last week, at the end of preseason. To override the changes, I had to watch the game using a non private window. But real quick I figured out that the problem was not related to new scripts being required to be white listed (new baseball season usually means changes in the white list have to be done) but because of the changes implemented by Mozilla in Firefox 87. Almost immediately after updating to Firefox 87, I found one website which is pretty dirty (lots of scripts, bad scripts), that I visit often to watch baseball or football not working. I think the changes related to privacy that Mozilla implemented in Firefox 87 might be interfering with the proper functioning of some websites when running on a private window.
